Coach and Instructor Development - Consolidation

John Cullinan – CPSA Coach and Head Coach at Kibworth Shooting Ground.
John Robinson – England Head Coach Commonwealth Games and ISSF International Coach.
Coach and Instructor Development Consolidation Workshop – primarily focusing on bringing together the individual elements of the coaching process that have been explored in previous clinics and workshops. The aim is to demonstrate how the various aspects can be integrated within a systematic holistic approach – particularly in its practical application for a first lesson scenario with a new client (a shooter with previous experience).
Outline of topics covered:-
1. Reconnaissance – Who is your client? What do we need to know about them and their shooting
2. Eye Dominance and the Referent Eye – On and off range assessment techniques
3. Gun Fitting in practice
4. The Shooting Process – understand the interrelationship of the various constituents
5. Communication – flexible approach to match the client
6.The Coaching Process – Observation, interpretation and appropriate correction
The cost is £220:00 but discounted to £150:00 for members. Includes refreshments, a light lunch & clays, please bring your own cartridges.
